Excellent Router that Punches Well Above its Price Point — Buy It I found this router through a third party website review (the Wire Cutter), that aptly called this, “the Best Wi-Fi Router (for Most People).” I would probably amend that title and say, “the Best Wi-Fi Router (for Virtually Everyone).” Do not let the low price fool you into thinking it’s an entry level or low-end model. It only costs around $100 but, from my observations against four other routers that cost considerably more, it performs well beyond its price point…

Love this router and love the price!! This router exceeded my expectations in every way. Setup was incredibly easy using the instructions provided. I was able to set up the 2.4Mhz and 5Mhz connections in about 5 minutes. I highly recommend having the SSID and passwords the same for both bands, then your devices will automatically pick the fastest one.

Get rid of your Cable Company Box and get this with the Arris SB6141 So far I am loving this router. I just made the switch from leasing a box from Comcast and was looking for a mid level ac router with AC capability. I currently run about 180dl and 25 up with my old Comcast box wired. The problem was as soon as you start walking away, the speed dropped significantly. I also wanted to save the now $10 a month I was paying for it.
