Pleasantly surprised First off, i was wary of the number of review stars on this drive since A) it’s a seagate which seems to get a bad rap as of late, and B) most of the 5-star reviews are vine voice reviews of free products. Over the last year or so i’ve come to the conclusion that these elite reviewers would rather keep their free stuff coming than provide honest reviews… but who am I to judge… i’d probably do the same.

A great device so far I just hope to God it lasts a long time So to start things off I want to let everybody know my brother bought me this off HIS Amazon account so in other words it may say I am not a verified buyer.

This product died on me within 4 months of use. This product died on me within 4 months of use. I am a professional photographer and the most important aspect for any professional is to backup their data and if lost then all their hardwork goes down the flush. That’s exactly what happened to me today but thankfully I had 2 more 1TB portable hard drives on which I had setup TimeMachine (Macbook pro) from my 5TB drive.
