Works great with the right display adapters The Surface Dock is really the only quality option for docking your Surface. Microsoft discontinued the Surface Pro 3 docks that locked in on the sides, so this is our only choice for a dock that charges the Surface and outputs to multiple displays, etc. Here is my pros and cons:

Great dock for my Surface Pro 4 I picked up this dock when my desktop PC had an issue and I needed to use my i7 Surface Pro 4 as my main computer. Out of the box it allowed me to use my 1080p touch screen monitor (using an active DP – HDMI adapter. I was also able to connect all my peripherals (photo scanner, wireless keyboard and mouse, external HD) to USB without issue. I use a lot of USB devices, though, and wish it had a couple more ports.
