Works fine I’m always skeptical of using cords that are from China that’s not an official Apple product. So far this cord charged my original 1st generation iPad fully. I’ve only used it a few times so far but it worked fine no problems. If after a few uses it fails to work ( like sometimes products from China are known to do) u will update my review.

Replacement cable value. decent quality appearing cable. Only using the cable over time will determine it’s quality and value. Since it replaced a broken cable supplied with my phone, well these will wear out over time. They appear high quality and include strain reliefs on the connector ends. The cable used for connector to connector is pliable but on the stiff side and fairly thin suggesting a light gauge wire with thin insulation jacket. A cable more suited for in house use from a wall charger rather than one…
