Windows-10 Software Updates That Work! I recently upgraded my old Windows-7 laptop to the “free” Windows-10 promotional offered from Microsoft. Even under Windows-7 the WiFi interface had been problematic and the issued continued under Windows-10. Given the advanced age of the laptop, I didn’t want to invest a lot of money fixing the WiFi. In reviewing Amazon’s USB WiFi solutions, the Edimax EW-7811Un appeared to be likely low cost solution were it not for the large number of negative reviews which were…

Works Great ,,, Easy To Install ….Great Signal. I bought this for an older laptop which used a bulky card type of WiFi adapter. I have never used one this small before. It was a very easy to install. I do have my router’s internal broadcast turned up to the maximum setting. By default on most routers in my experience that setting is about mid-range…

Once the driver is installed and your MAC restarts, the edimax icon appears in the menu bar to the right of the airport icon. Just like the airport icon, click on the edimax icon, select your network from the dropdown and log in. On many MB Pros the airport card disappears. I’m using these to resolve the issue and recommending…
