Intermittent Flickering and all black Screen I am using this adapter between my new MccBook Pro and my Samsung U28D590 4K monitor. Does what it says on the tin, but only at 30Hz. Only 2016 MacBook can drive a 4K display at 60Hz through this. If you have a 2015 MacBook, you’re stuck with 30Hz, and lots of screen tearing. Bizarrely, the 2015 MacBook will do 60Hz, but only via DisplayPort; there is no DisplayPort edition of this adapter. You have to go third party, and finding a third party USB C-DisplayPort adapter with power pass-thru is more difficult than you’d think.
